Rolling cash forecast
A forward view of cash on a rolling horizon — typically 13 weeks for operating decisions, longer where hiring, capital purchases, or a lending conversation need it.
Our software
Not a product we resell and not a side project — the tool we run our own engagements on. When a client needs something it doesn’t do yet, we’re the ones who build it.
Most cash forecasts die in a spreadsheet — accurate the day they were built, stale a month later, and abandoned by the quarter.
Not because the model was wrong, but because keeping it current was somebody’s manual job on top of their real one. The receivables shift, terms change, a large payment moves a week, and the forecast quietly stops describing the business. Everybody goes back to checking the bank balance.
Cash Horizon exists to close that gap. We built it because we needed it in our own client work: software designed around how a business actually collects, pays, and plans — and around keeping a forecast alive rather than just producing one.
A forward view of cash on a rolling horizon — typically 13 weeks for operating decisions, longer where hiring, capital purchases, or a lending conversation need it.
Connected to your accounting system and bank activity, so keeping the forecast current is a routine rather than a rebuild.
Variance tracked over time, so the forecast gets sharper with each cycle instead of drifting away from reality unnoticed.
What a slow collection month, a new hire, a price change, or a delayed customer payment does to the cash position — before the decision is made rather than after.
Consistent forecasting across a book of clients, so a fractional CFO isn’t rebuilding the same model by hand for every engagement.
Cash data is among the most sensitive information a business has. So Cash Horizon is built to run where you want it to — including inside your own cloud account, on infrastructure you own and control, rather than requiring your financial data to live in somebody else’s.
That option exists because we build this software ourselves. CloudCraft has designed and operated production cloud systems end to end on AWS — secure multi-account environments defined as code, serverless application backends, and large-scale automated data pipelines — with the isolation, access control, and promotion paths that separate a working demo from a system you’d trust with your finances. The engineering is in service of the finance work, not the other way around.
Cash Horizon is how we deliver, not what we sell you instead of the work. A typical engagement starts with discovery of how money actually moves through your business, then a first working forecast built in Cash Horizon, then a cadence for keeping it current — with us running that cadence or your team trained to.
Engagements can also be delivered in the tools you already use. Some clients want the forecast built where their team already works; others want the software and the advisory together. Either is a fine place to start.
A short consult is the best way to see what Cash Horizon would look like against your numbers.
