About
Carried the budget. And builds the tooling.
CloudCraft Solutions LLC is a founder-led cash-flow and financial-operations practice. It exists because the two halves of this work — knowing how a business’s cash actually behaves, and building the system that tracks it — rarely sit in the same place.
Most people who can advise on your cash can’t build the system that tracks it. Most people who can build the system have never had to answer for the cash.
That gap is why cash-flow work so often ends the same way: a well-intentioned spreadsheet that nobody keeps current, or software that was never shaped by anyone who had to make payroll from the number it produced. CloudCraft was built to close it.
A finance and operations career, first
CloudCraft’s founder spent 15 years as second-in-command of a multi-site operating company — accountable for the budget, the banking, and the results. That is where cash stops being a reporting exercise: when the number on the statement is yours to answer for, you learn quickly which decisions the forecast has to be able to support, and how far ahead you need to see them coming.
The credentials behind that work are an MBA, the FPAC (FP&A certification), and the CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) — the planning-and-analysis and treasury sides of exactly this problem. CloudCraft is not an accounting firm and does not perform accounting, tax, or attest services; the work is forward-looking cash forecasting, planning, and financial operations alongside whoever keeps your books.
And a builder, second
Advisory that stops at the recommendation leaves the hardest part — keeping it running — with the client. CloudCraft builds and operates the tooling instead. That’s where Cash Horizon came from: cash-forecasting software built for the practice’s own client work, shaped by real engagements rather than by a product roadmap.
We build secure finance software that runs in your own account. CloudCraft has designed and operated production cloud systems end to end on AWS — secure multi-account environments defined as code, serverless application backends, and large-scale automated data pipelines — with the isolation, access control, and promotion paths that separate a demo from a system you’d trust with your financial data. Where a client wants their cash data to stay in infrastructure they own and control, that is a normal way to run it here, not a special request.
That engineering depth is backed by the full AWS certification stack. CloudCraft’s founder holds every active AWS certification at once — a ‘Golden Jacket’ owner. It’s a level few ever reach: an estimated few hundred people worldwide have done it. That’s what makes the Golden Jacket such a rare professional distinction — it validates both breadth of expertise across the AWS domain and a sustained commitment to continuous learning. Here, it’s in service of one thing: finance software that is secure, reliable, and yours.
Who we work with
Small and mid-sized businesses past the point where cash can be run out of a checking-account balance and a good memory, but short of a full-time CFO and an FP&A team.
Fractional CFOs and advisors who already hold the client relationship and want a forecasting and tracking layer built and maintained underneath their advisory work. We work behind the advisor, and we don’t compete for the seat you already have.
How engagements run
Scoped up front — a defined scope and a defined deliverable — then run remote. A forecast build moves through discovery, a first working forecast, and a cadence for keeping it current. Ongoing advisory and fractional support settle into a standing rhythm you can plan around: the meeting time cash work genuinely needs, and none that it doesn’t.
Founder-led means the person you talk to in the consult is the person who does the work.
